Full list of Pakistani actors whose Instagram accounts are still visible in India

NEW DELHI: Instagram accounts of several well-known Pakistani actors, including Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, Sanam Saeed, and Ali Zafar, have been restricted in India following a legal request. Indian users attempting to access their profiles were met with a message stating, “Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content.”

The move comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan after the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians.
In addition to the aforementioned celebrities, accounts belonging to actors Bilal Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Ayeza Khan, Imran Abbas, and Sajal Aly have also been blocked for users in India.
The release of Abir Gulaal, a film featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, is now uncertain in light of the incident. However, Fawad Khan’s Instagram account remains accessible in India.
Meanwhile, the Instagram profiles of several other Pakistani public figures, including singers Atif Aslam, Farhan Saeed, Ali Sethi, and Shafqat Amanat Ali, as well as actors Mawra Hocane (Sanam Teri Kasam), Saba Qamar (Hindi Medium), Adnan Siddiqui (Mom), Hamza Ali Abbasi, Veena Malik, and Churails cast members Sarwat Gilani, Mehar Bano, Nimra Bucha, and Yasra Rizvi, remain active and viewable in India.
