Drew McIntyre took an indirect shot at LA Knight at a recent promotional WWE event by bringing up the drama that unfolded at the Royal Rumble event.
Drew McIntyre walked into the 2025 Royal Rumble event with hopes of recreating his victory back in 2020. However, he was eliminated in a botched fashion with a wrong move by LA Knight. This led to McIntyre reportedly causing havoc backstage and leaving the arena early as well. He recently brought up the topic once again at a WWE event outside the ring.

What did Drew McIntyre do to mock LA Knight for the Royal Rumble controversy?

Drew McIntyre was a part of multiple superstars who participated in the Topps Rip Night in Jersey City on February 23, 2025. McIntyre revealed a lot of cards but took a hilarious jab at LA Knight upon pulling his card. He mocked LA Knight for their Royal Rumble controversy in sarcasm ,saying, “Alright, let’s do the bit. My good buddy, LA Knight. See, I got your stuff in for you.”

The phrase mentioned by Drew McIntyre, “get my stuff in,” was a huge point of discussion after the Royal Rumble event. This came after reports emerged that LA Knight was not happy how things unfolded during the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match.

What is next for Drew McIntyre?

After his failure and botched elimination at the Royal Rumble event, Drew McIntyre still has one more chance to mainevent WrestleMania 41. He defeated LA Knight and Jimmy Uso on SmackDown to qualify for the upcoming Men's Elimination Chamber match. The winner of the match will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title at WrestleMania in Las Vegas this year.

McIntyre was the winner of last year's chamber match and even defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 to win the World Heavyweight Championship. He has a chance to become a back-to-back Elimination Chamber if he emerges victorious in this year's match. With The Scottish Warrior laser-focused on the opportunity at hand after his Royal Rumble botch elimination, it will be interesting to see if he can capitalize on the same.
