Is WWE RAW Star AJ Styles Planning To Retire Within Next 2 Years?

WWE star AJ Styles has revealed plans to retire from wrestling before turning 50 in 2027, after expressing his thoughts on the Insight podcast. Styles, who is set to conclude his career within two years, is expected to challenge Logan Paul on the March 10th episode of WWE Raw, possibly leading to a multi-man match at WrestleMania 41.

As most WWE stars are planning to retire from the ring, with John Cena already on the line, who is currently on his farewell tour in 2025. Several other superstars like Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio have spoken about it too. Meanwhile, the WWE RAW superstar has also revealed his plan to bid goodbye to the ring within the next 2 years.
According to reports, AJ Styles is planning to hang up his boots before he turns 50. The star will turn 50 on June 2, 2027. This is not the first time that Styles has expressed his intent to retire. Previously, the WWE management also planned his retirement tour last year, but unfortunately, the tour could not take place due to Styles’ serious injury.

WWE RAW star AJ Styles is all set to retire from the ring, but the Phenomenal One knows exactly when he’ll hang up his boots. The star expressed his intent to bid goodbye to the ring while speaking on the Insight podcast with Chris Van Vliet.
The Phenomenal One admitted that he’s been thinking a lot about his retirement from wrestling, though he’s yet to finalize the details from his end.

Styles in the podcast said, “I’ve thought about it a lot, much more than I should have. I should have known what I was doing by now. But it’s so hard because you enjoy it so much and I enjoy being around my friends.” He also mentioned how he enjoys being in the business and being in the company of his friends and fellow contemporaries.
Styles further added that he is planning to hang up his boots before turning 50 years old, which the wrestler will eventually turn on June 2, 2027. This means the wrestler might say goodbye to the ring in 2027. He further added, "I keep saying that. I’ve said this and said this, but I will not wrestle at 50, I promise you that."

AJ Styles is to call out Logan Paul at next Monday's RAW edition

According to WWE, AJ Styles will call out Logan Paul on the March 10th episode of WWE Raw, which airs live from Madison Square Garden.

In addition to the upcoming match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, WWE announced that AJ Styles would call out Logan Paul after they previously had a confrontation backstage.
