Kerala Plus One admission 2025: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, has officially started the Plus One admission process for the academic year 2025. Eligible students who have successfully cleared the SSLC examinations can now apply online through the official admission portal – hscap.kerala.gov.in.The last date to submit applications is May 20, 2025.The launch of the admission process follows the announcement of the Kerala SSLC results on May 9, 2025. As per the official notification, students are advised to apply within the stipulated timeline to secure their seat in the upcoming academic session. The Kerala Plus Two results will be declared on May 21, while the SSLC SAY (Save a Year) examinations are scheduled from May 28 to June 2, 2025.Structured timeline and allotment scheduleThe admission process will follow a clearly defined timeline. The trial allotment will be published on May 24, 2025, allowing students to verify their options and make necessary corrections if needed. This will be followed by three rounds of allotment. The first allotment list will be released on June 2, 2025, the second on June 10, 2025, and the third on June 16, 2025. Classes for the new academic year will begin on June 18, 2025.

Kerala Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced that a total of 4,74,917 seats are available for Plus One admissions. This includes 4,41,887 seats in the regular stream and 33,030 seats in the vocational higher secondary sector. In addition, 61,429 seats have been set aside in ITIs and 9,990 in polytechnic institutions, bringing the total number of higher secondary seats to 5,46,336.
