UP Board Compartment Exam 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced that the online portal for the 2025 compartment examswill open tomorrow, May 19, 2025. Students wishing to appear for the compartment or improvement examinations can now access the official website of the UP Board at upmsp.edu.in.The application window will remain open until June 10, 2025, at 12:00 midnight, giving students ample time to complete their applications for both the High School and Intermediate examinations.This is an important announcement for students who failed in one or more subjects in the High School or Intermediate examinations held earlier this year. Students who are eligible for the compartment examination can now apply online through the UPMSP portal, following the same process as in previous years. The Board has set the last date for submitting applications on June 10, 2025, and students are advised to complete the process well before the deadline.Details for high school improvement and compartment examsFor the High School examination, students who have failed in one subject can appear for the improvement or compartment examination in the subject they failed. The examination fee for this is set at Rs. 256.50.
It is important to note that students can only appear in one subject for the improvement or compartment exam.In the case of the Intermediate compartment exam, students from Humanities, Science, and Commerce streams who have failed in one subject can apply for the compartment exam. Additionally, students who failed in any one question paper from the Agriculture Part-1 or Part-2 subjects or from vocational trade subjects are also eligible. The examination fee for Intermediate compartment exams is Rs. 306.00.

Fee payment instructionsCandidates must deposit the prescribed examination fee through a challan in the designated treasury account of the UP Board. The challan can be generated from the official website after completing the online application. Once the fee payment is made, students are required to send the original challan along with a copy of the online application form to the concerned regional office of the UPMSP via registered post.The last date for submission of these documents is June 13, 2025.Examination details and guidelinesCandidates who have failed in both the written and practical sections of their respective subjects will have to appear for both parts of the examination. For students who have passed one part of the subject (written or practical) but failed in the other, they can choose to appear only for the failed part or for both parts. The specific dates for written and practical exams will be announced separately by the UPMSP.Students are encouraged to regularly check the official UPMSP website, upmsp.edu.in, for any updates or changes to the exam schedule or application process.
